December 17, 2005: Kids' Christmas
On a cold day with occasional snow scattering, we had a kids' Christmas day. The kids brought-in some materials for lunch and mothers made them into stew.
At the reception desk, kids got their name plates and "You are welcome vividly seals" to be attached on the Christmas tree.
Around ten in the morning, the kids' Christmas party started. "What is Christmas? We are happy if we can understand the meaning of it even a bit. We are happy if the party will be pleasant one", the general leader made a few words in the opening.
A member in charge of kids party today emceed by showing "We are here vividly" tree.
The kids made self introduction. Those who didn't do it would be able to introduce themselves before they left here today. All the kids did so after all.
A picture-story show "The mission from the heavens" was performed. The picture was prepared by the mothers. God would give the power to the kids who make the best, the wisdom to those who think well.
The kids made their best as well. On an adventure calendar, they put what they want to do and then open the window to challenge skipping, bicycle riding, getting up early in the morning, putting the toys in order, watch TV maximum 30 minutes a day, and more. OK,let's do your best from now on.
Schoolchildren reported how to they kept petty cash books. They checked their spending. Cookies 1870 Yen, six notebooks, pencils, and name plates made 1195 Yen. Donation such as friendship post card or peace bell were summed up to 323 Yen.
There are many countries around the world and many people live in them. Some of them may become sick due to the lack of food. We have learned today about it by the information from UNICEF. You have already discussed it with your family. Please donate some money into the bag. Your good wills would be distributed to those who needed them.
Well let's enjoy the lunch. What you have brought-in was turned into stew like this. Bread and jelly were prepared by the mothers.
All the kids helped to set up the table and then took the good lunch.
After the lunch, "hand show" was demonstrated. The kids were interested in it and soon learned how to do it.

"What is Christmas" theater was again performed.
Kids then exchanged their original Christmas cards.
The cards were circulated around the kids on the song.

Pop up card, music card, painting, cotton flower attached card.
Well, you have learned the Christmas was a day when the child of God was born. Let's make effort what you have made up in your minds.
In the last, we have cleaned up the site. We have had a very good Christmas party today.
