February 1, 2005Oita GOF February regular meeting
Rowbai, a species of Japanese Ume, blooms beautifully in the garden of our Oita GOF(Group Of Friends.)
Today, we have had the coldest morning in this winter.
Oita GOF's regular meeting was held from 9:30 a.m. On the second floor, a regular sales shop was opened as usual. They sold home made bread, cookies, dressing, marmalade, and Miso paste.
The daycare center was open as well.
Warm steam rises up from the kitchen on the first floor. They are preparing for the lunch today.
The group in charge of the lunch is Houfu Group.
The regular meeting started at ten. Today's reading is taken from the books by Motoko Hani as "Education for 30 years" and "Study at Jiyu Gakuen campus."
Five members made simple presentation on what they have learned through the various activities.
Important items were discussed carefully such as the next term general leader election and friendship sales to be held in March.
The general leader reported on "Garbage zero campaign prompted by Oita prefecture Office." Our GOF will make a presentation as well.
After the meeting, we took lunch together.
Wet large snow flakes were falling down quietly out of the window. As the snow trouble, two members couldn't join today.
